Low Utilization Rates and Missed Opportunities
Despite the significant number of individuals enrolled in SSDI, the utilization rates of the Ticket to Work
(TTW) Program remain surprisingly low.
According to the Social Security Administration (SSA), as of the
end of 2023, only a fraction of SSDI beneficiaries were taking advantage of the incentives offered by
TTW.
This underutilization represents a missed opportunity for individuals with disabilities to explore the
possibility of returning to work and reclaiming personal and professional satisfaction.
