Document How Your Condition Limits Work

SSDI focuses heavily on whether your medical condition prevents you from performing substantial work.

Keep notes about work-related limitations.
Document missed work and reduced hours.
Record problems with standing, sitting, walking, lifting, concentrating, or other relevant tasks.

Think beyond your diagnosis and document what you can and cannot consistently do. For example,
being able to sit for 20 minutes doesn’t necessarily mean you can sit at a workstation for eight hours a
day.
